Identity verification privacy notice
Understand what you share, who can review it, and your choices before verifying your identity.
1. Who is responsible
FastContract is operated by HubtersAI, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company in the United States. Business address: 2261 Market Street STE 67721, San Francisco, CA 94114, United States. For questions or requests about identity verification data, contact support@fastcontract.app. You may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent. We may verify account ownership before acting on a request.
2. Your choice
Identity verification is optional. Before taking or uploading verification photos, you choose whether to allow FastContract to collect, store, and review the information described here. Declining does not delete your account or prevent you from using features that do not require identity verification.
3. Information we collect
We collect photos of the front and back of your ID (or only your passport photo page), and a new camera selfie holding the same ID. These images may contain your portrait, ID number, signature, nationality, and other details printed on the document. We also keep your account identifier, submitted legal name, date of birth, country, document type, upload details, consent version and time, and the review result and feedback. Verification links to the ID type and number selected from your saved Personal profile IDs.
4. How we use it
Authorized FastContract reviewers use the photos and submitted details to assess whether the ID and the person submitting it match, decide the verification result, and manage corrections and retries. Verification records also support review auditing and the integrity of verification badges. The current flow uses human review; it does not create face-recognition templates or perform automated liveness checks. Identity photos are not sent to the agreement drafting AI, used to train AI models, or used for advertising.
5. Access and sharing
Identity photos are stored privately in Cloudflare infrastructure and can be accessed through authenticated review tools by authorized FastContract administrators. Infrastructure providers process data needed to operate the service. Result emails are processed through our email provider, Resend, without attaching ID photos. The other agreement participant does not receive your verification photos, date of birth, ID number, or rejection feedback through the verification badge. Your name and verification status may appear in agreement and signing records.
6. Storage and deletion
Verification ID photos and selfies are scheduled for deletion from active storage 30 days after approval, rejection, or cancellation; abandoned draft photos are scheduled for deletion after 30 days. Failed storage deletions are queued for retry. Approved legal name, date of birth, country, ID type and number, issuing country, and verification time are retained as a private, read-only verified identity record while verification remains active. These verified profile fields and the linked saved ID are locked. Contact support for corrections. Unapproved submitted snapshots and detailed feedback are cleared with verification-photo deletion. You can withdraw verification consent or delete your account to remove the private verified record. Separately uploaded Personal profile ID photos stay in your profile until you remove them or delete your account; they are not the verification photo evidence. Shared signing records are separate and are not rewritten.
7. Stopping or correcting a request
You can decline before starting or cancel a pending review to stop it. Cancellation alone schedules photo deletion after 30 days. To withdraw consent and request deletion sooner, select Delete verification data in Settings → Privacy & Data or contact support@fastcontract.app. Withdrawal stops the review, removes your verified badge, and queues deletion of your ID photos and selfies without deleting your account. You must complete fresh verification to regain the badge. Previous shared signing records remain unchanged. Cancelling your subscription alone does not remove the badge.
8. What you agree to
By selecting the consent checkbox and pressing Start or Continue, you authorize FastContract to collect, store, and review your ID photos, camera selfie, and submitted identity details for identity verification as described in this version of the agreement. We record the version and acceptance time against your request. A verified badge records the review result; it does not guarantee an agreement participant’s intentions, financial position, or authority to act for a business.
